On January 1st 2010 the Cine-Regio secretariat moved from Göteborg, Sweden to Århus, Denmark, with support from Region Central and Region North Denmark, the "home" of Cine-Regio member West Danish Film Fund.

Charlotte Appelgren, General Secretary of Cine-Regio since March 2006, has studied business in USA, Ireland and Singapore, and holds a Master of Science (economics) from Odense University in Denmark. Charlotte has among others worked with Merlin Films, Ireland, as Marketing Executive, Advisor with MEDIA Desk Denmark and Festival Manager for the Danish Film Institute. Co-author of The Fine Art of Co-producing and researcher/contributor on the reports Film financing mechanisms stimulating private investment in Danish film and The Economic and Creative Growth Potential of the Danish Games Industry.

Anna-Maria holds a Master of Education in Music and a Master of Singing. She has been working in the Vocal Group Ars Nova in Copenhagen, Denmark, and as a freelance classical singer in Göteborg, Sweden. The last years she has also dealt with economy and administration. She speaks english and french.
