Film Agency for Wales

The Film Agency for Wales has a remit to ensure that the economic, cultural and educational aspects of film are effectively represented in Wales, the UK and the world, working as an advocate and offering advice, information and funding.

Current funding strands focus on feature film development and production, particularly focusing on those projects where Welsh talent (especially writers, directors and producers) benefit, though they can shoot anywhere in the World, provided they qualify as British films.
Funding is also available for exhibition (Welsh cinemas and film festivals) and initiatives that promote film literacy.
